THE PORNSTAR MARTINI
The cocktail of the decade. Pornstar Martini is incredibly popular in the UK and is regularly included in the world’s top cocktail lists.
It was invented by the legendary bartender, Douglas Ankrah, at The Townhouse bar in Knightsbridge in 2002. He knocked up the recipe in 15 minutes and created a flavour combination that works perfectly.
Below are two short videos showcasing two variations of the Pornstar Martini cocktail that I crafted at work. The first version includes passionfruit purée, which adds a rich and velvety texture, enhanced by the appealing white foam that delivers a smooth and creamy finish. The second version uses fresh fruits, offering a vibrant and natural twist that highlights the bright, tangy notes of passionfruit, resulting in a clean and refreshing profile. Each version has its own unique charm, presenting cocktail enthusiasts with a delightful range of textures and flavors to enjoy.
